Where you just sit back and really take in and enjoy everything and everyone you have around you.
Yesterday as we were coming back on the boat after a full day with great friends, I saw a bird fly across the crisp, blue sky and realized...this isn't a picture, this is my real life, and it is such a beautiful thing.

Doors that make you feel secure

Staying up super late at night
Into the early hours
Enjoying yourself, being productive, spending time with someone you care about, etc.
Then being able to turn the alarm off
And sleep until the hour-place on the clock is in the double digits.

Climbing big oak trees that have red swings on them.

In the middle of a busy street, there is still a small form of the good life we can cling to.
I plan on clinging to it with all my might.

One of the best things I have found is putting on new, fresh socks.

I mean, think about it.
It's one of those things that people take for granted.
Think about homeless people the next time it rains, and how wet their feet must be.
