Okay, maybe this is just me...
I know I don't drink enough water
but when you're super thirsty, and you haven't had any all day
then you load a glass with ice cubes and pour on some water
and drink it down

Whether it's a baby, a puppy, a tiny teapot, flower, seashell... whatever
Little things just have something about them that make you smile and feel all warm inside

so the next time you see your short friend
give them a high five!
Just, not too high.

But appreciate them
Cause if nothing else, they make you smile.

I went to a political gathering today
and as we sang
"I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the ones who died
And gave that right to me"

I almost cried.
It's hitting home.
